'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' returns in an illustrated edition

El primer libro del famoso mago ilustrado fue desarrollado por el artista británico Jim Kay.

The book is already on the European market and is expected to reach Latin America later this year. Although the play was written by JK Rowling, Kay is the real star of this new version that may well appeal to both hardcore fans and new readers.

After receiving a call from his editor with the proposal to
illustrate this book, Kay said he was aware that this work involved some "difficulties" that Harry is a child (and drawing scales are different) and that was a fantasy story, acknowledged in an interview.

"The hardest thing was to draw it affirms the main characters had to find my own Harry, Ron and Hermione. I never really drawing children so we needed current references, so my agent and I made a similar casting of children my characters. " Of course, there are also similar reasonable in this release and traits are identifiable with Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe, who played the famous magician in the
cinema.

In terms of architecture and objects that appear in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone 'Kay had to "visualize" the architecture of Hogwarts school where he studied for Potter wizard. In this sense, Jay helped by "models" to create characters and world.

"This is useful when you have to stand for something complicated like a tower-shaped dragon and you have to draw it from different angles and with different lighting. With Hogwarts rode the models with paper and clay and enlightened. It is a tool of great work." Regarding his way to work,
