Nadal suffered to overcome before the Czech Rosol

The Spaniard Rafael Nadal, third seed, was able to react in time and in emphatic fashion after losing the first set, won the Czech Lukas Rosol 1-6, 7-5, 7-6 (4), in the first round Basel Open a ATP500 on track quickly and endowed with 1,575,295 euros in prize money.

The fourth confrontation between the two, which had been stiff at
first it (Wimbledon 2012, in five sets, with victory Rosol) was strange.

Home was a lost, unknown, Nadal without site with too many errors at the mercy of a Rosol that, by dint of his powerful serve, ran over the Spanish.

It was not until the tenth game of the second set, where Rosol served to close the match in their favor, so as things change overnight.

Nadal was born, he took the serve of his opponent, then the second set; and he forced a third draw which was enough drops of his great tennis to stand with a clear 3-0, then 4-1, a victory that seemed to presage even faster.

Not so with a Rosol protesting the main judge, in his opinion, tardiness in joining the rest Nadal, the Spanish are decentered and gave his serve in the seventh game (4-3).

The Czech evened the match and then gave way to see how each player is doing with his serve, giving way to the final thirteenth game. Here again, uncertainty. Rosol got a favorable 4-2; but Nadal reacted again and took five points.

He took the pass to second round, with comeback, after having gone very wrong. But taking their caste and again show that never gives defeated, despite knowing that was already in the Masters Cup no matter what happens in Basel.
