Thirteen panda babies, including six pairs of twins, presented in China

Thirteen pandas born this year, including six pairs of twins, they were shown to the public today for the first time in Chengdu, southwest China, thanks to a joint initiative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and a local center research of these animals.



With the aim of raising awareness about the protection of these mammals, UNDP and the Centre for Research and Giant Panda Breeding in Chengdu showed today animals to the public who came to the premises of the local institution in the capital of Sichuan, the agency Xinhua.
