The Argentine Leo Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Andres Iniesta Spanish top the list of candidates for the Golden Ball 2015 FIFA and the French publication 'France Football', announced Tuesday.
Iniesta is the only Spanish among the 23 players selected by
experts from the Football Committee and a group of specialists from the French magazine, sharing possibilities with FC Barcelona with Messi, Javier Mascherano, Neymar, Ivan Rakitic and Luis Suarez.
Barca (6) won in number of players at Real Madrid (5), which, along with Cristiano Ronaldo, also among the nominees with Welshman Gareth Bale, Frenchman Karim Benzema, the German Toni Kroos and the Colombian James Rodriguez.
In this edition, Bayern Munich has Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller, Arturo Vidal, Arjen Robben and Robert Lewandowski.
In the period covered, the November 22, 2014 to November 20, the Chilean Vidal also comes as a candidate for Juventus, his exequipo, while Belgian Kevin de Bruyne makes VfL Wolfsburg and Manchester City, set the latter are represented in the Argentine Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure.
Arsenal is included in the list through the Chilean Alexis Sanchez, the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) through Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Juventus thanks to the French Paul Pogba and Chelsea by Belgian Eden Hazard.
Among the ten contenders for the prize of best football coach in 2015 shows Spanish Pep Guardiola (Bayern Munich), Luis Enrique (FC Barcelona) and Unai Emery (Sevilla).
The extécnico Carlo Ancelotti Real Madrid and PSG (Laurent Blanc), Chelsea (Jose Mourinho), Atletico Madrid (Diego Simeone), Arsenal (Arsene Wenger), Juventus (Massimiliano Allegri) and selection Chile (Jorge Sampaoli) also will aspire to win the trophy.
The final decision rests with the captains and coaches of male teams and international media representatives selected by "France Football" and will be announced on January 11 at a gala in Zurich (Switzerland).
The voting period begins next October 26 and ends on November 20, before the unveiling ceremony on November 30 the names of the three finalists in each category.
